Intermediate Manners
This 5-week program is for dogs that have completed our Basic Manners or similar course and know the basics such as sit, down, stay, and come. It is designed for dogs that are ready to kick it up a notch and work the basics in much harder situations.
You will learn how to:
- Further strengthen your relationship and communication with your dog
- Help your dog gain fluency in the basic skills you learned in the Basic Manners course and take these to the next level by incorporating them into more complex behaviors
- Take it on the road and practice all the behaviors in the real world and in every day life situations
Your dog will learn behaviors such as sit, down and stand from a distance and with real life distractions; long sit and down stays; “come” in the real world; basic heeling; leaving things alone while out for a walk; proper etiquette for meeting and playing with dogs; beginning off leash work; and some fun tricks.
